What is SMTL?

The Sand Mountain Tennis League was formed over 30 years ago. We are a non-profit organization that promotes the great sport of tennis in Marshall County and the surrounding areas. SMTL is supported by its members. We have a Men's Singles League that begins in the early Spring runs through Mid-Summer and another that begins in the late Summer and runs through the late Fall. In the Spring of 2009, both the ladies and men's league joined under one banner as SMTL. Beginning in the Fall of 2008, SMTL began hosting tournaments that were open to non-members. Due to the great success of the tournament, SMTL plans to hosts a variety of tournaments for many years to come.
